Lowland Leader & Camping Leader Courses
We are an Approved Provider for Mountain Training's Lowland Leader Qualification and can deliver your Training and Assessment Course along with the Camping Leader Qualification.
The Lowland Leader qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you will never be short of places to go walking.
The Camping Leader Qualification is for people who wish to supervise a camping group and develop participants' camping proficiency by teaching campcraft activities.
We deliver the 2 day Lowland Leader training and assessment courses and the 1 day Camping Leader course in Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.

The Lowland Leader training and assessment courses are practical courses and are ideal for The Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions, Guides, Scouts, Ramblers, Health Walk Leaders etc. and there will be lots of opportunities to cover key elements of the syllabus

Our Course Director
Our Course Director, Stuart Gorman is a highly skilled and experienced Outdoor Professional and has over 25 years experience delivering walking, navigation and camping courses throughout the UK
He has delivered numerous Basic Expedition Leaders Award Courses (BELA), Lowland Leaders Training and Assessment Courses and has instructed on The Duke of Edinburgh Award Expeditions at all levels for many years.
He has developed candidates skills and inspired them to share the love of the Countryside and the great outdoors with others.
